The gobar team came to us with a vision: creators were collecting money through fragmented tools like bio-link donations, separate streaming widgets, and traditional payment rails that introduced delays and high fees. They wanted to build a platform where a specific creator goal becomes the center of fan interaction, with real-time progress updates, full transparency, and clear motivation to push "just a little more until the goal is reached."
The existing funding solutions lacked the immediacy and transparency that modern creator-fan relationships demand. Traditional payment systems broke the emotional connection between supporting a creator and seeing the immediate impact of that support.
Opportunity
The gobar founders saw an opportunity to merge Web2 ease of use with Web3 transparency: familiar donation scenarios powered by Solana stablecoins and on-chain settlement. They envisioned "goal-bar" — a platform where the progress bar itself becomes the main visual metaphor for collective momentum.
We developed the complete identity system centered around the dynamic progress bar: dark UI, accent green as "support energy," and micro-animations that drive action. The visual language communicates momentum, progress, and collective achievement.
We architected the platform to route 99% of funds directly to creators with a 1% platform fee, scalable to 3-4% for sustainable monetization without degrading UX. We implemented real-time WebSocket channels for live progress updates and leaderboards, and built the full-stack application with Solana on-chain integration for instant, transparent payouts.
